Overview of Antitrust Regulation

Antimonopoly Committee is in charge for actions to prevent establishment of monopolies.  Antimonopoly Committee generally observes the market conditions and considers applications from business and authorities regarding the monopolistic state.  If a company holds more than 35% of local market of goods, the Antimonopoly Committee includes the company into the list of monopolists.  Monopolies have to coordinate their prices and tariffs with the Ministry of Finance.
