Uzbek standards laws do not provide for special standards establishing technical conditions for production and labeling of imported vodka. Therefore importers of vodka do often face certain difficulties when bringing its product into compliance with Uzbek labeling requirements.

There is a special standard developed and approved by the State Agency on Standards -Standard OzDSt 1003:2006 which contains detailed requirements for labeling of vodka produced in Uzbekistan.
