A company has a firm name that indicates its organizational form. In instances stipulated by law (e.g. unitary enterprises, banks or exchanges), the firm name must also indicate the nature of the proposed activities.[1] A company must have a full firm name and may have an abbreviated firm name spelt out in the Uzbek language. Unless otherwise stipulated in legislation, a firm name may not contain any terms or abbreviations borrowed from foreign languages such as LLC, Ltd, Limited, Inc. or Co.[2]
