Antitrust in Establishment JV

The Law of Uzbekistan on competition and restriction of monopolistic activities in the commodity markets of 27 December 1996 (“Competition Law”) is major piece of legislation of Uzbek antitrust regulation. Its provisions regarding establishment, merger and consolidation of legal entities are limited to certain forms of legal entities, such as associations, holding companies and financial-industrial groups.
