Day Offs and Public Holidays

Normal duration of work time cannot exceed 40 hours per week. In a six-days work week, the duration of daily work cannot exceed 7 hours, whereas in a five-days work week a maximum of 8 hours a day is allowed.

All employees have the right for weekends: 2 days for five-days work week, and 1 day for six-days work week. Sunday is considered a general weekend.

The day before holidays, the duration of daily work (shift) is reduced for no less than an hour.
