Legal Requirements to Employment Contracts

The employment of nationals and foreign citizens is governed by the Labor Code effective 1 April 1996 (the “Labor Code”).  There are also several other relevant laws acts which govern labour and employment issues.  Labor relations in Uzbekistan are regulated by individual employment agreements/contracts, collective agreements, collective contracts and labor legislation.
