Uzbek migration laws allow Uzbek companies to employ foreign citizens provided that all necessary work permits and work license are obtained and employment visas (E-type) are provided to such foreign employees. The following categories of foreign citizens are not subject to of work permits/confirmations:

founders and shareholders of operating joint ventures or those in process of registration, who came for the period not exceeding 3 months;
