Ownership of real estate objects

Real estate objects in the Republic of Uzbekistan can be owned on a full ownership basis by legal and natural persons. Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides that ownership rights for real estate objects (buildings, constructions, etc.) are registered by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on land resources, geodesy, cartography and state cadastre and its regional departments.

Any legal or natural person – owner of a real estate object has full rights to manage the owned property at own discretion in accordance with the Civil Code and the Contracts Law, i.e. any real estate property can be sold, leased, gifted, inherited and transferred to the third parties in whatsoever lawful means.
