Restoration of a Patent for a Subject-matter of Industrial Property

The Law provides only for one case when restoration of a terminated patent is possible, that is restoration of patents which were terminated on the grounds of non-payment of patent fees to maintain the validity of a patent.

The condition for restoration is the full payment of relevant patent fees and submission of the request to the State Patent Agency within three years from the date of termination but not later than the expiry date of a patent.
