1. Resolution No. PP-525

Resolution No. PP-525 regulates general issues related to implementation of CDM projects in Uzbekistan. It establishes that profits of foreign partners that carry out direct investment to CDM Projects are exempted from profit taxes in the territory of Uzbekistan.

It also establishes Inter-agency Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan that is responsible for the strategic issues related to the implementation of CDM projects in Uzbekistan, and is authorized to approve CDM Projects on the national level and Agreements on purchase of reduction of emissions between CDM Project participants.
