Waste regulations

General governing legislation on waste issues in the Republic of Uzbekistan is the Waste products Act adopted by the Parliament on April 5, 2002, which is in force since May 2, 2002. The Act:

- provides main definitions on waste issues;

- regulates property rights with respect to waste products;

- determines powers of the Cabinet of Ministers (the Government);
