Commodity Exchange Operations with Polyethylene

In accordance with the Law on exchanges, certain commodities can be sold through exchanges in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Vast majority of commodities in Uzbekistan, including the polyethylene is sold through Commodity Exchange. The general procedure for operations, including sale and purchase of goods in the Commodity Exchange is set out in the Commodity Exchange Rules.

The Commodity Exchange Rules provide that a legal entity – resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan may participate in the exchange operations directly as a dealer or through an agent – a broker.
