Role of state investment programmes in the Uzbek foreign investment regime

State investment programs as well as state localization programs are the type of Government measures to boost the growth in certain sectors of economy.


In these programs the Government may chose to give preference to foreign investors in order to stimulate foreign direct investments into Uzbek economy. Their role is to highlight what prioritized industries or projects are to substantiate industry-wise incentives or exemptions.
