Trade
Provided below is a brief outline on use of e-signatures as part of E-Trade law:
The Law on e-signature is the main legislative act that regulates the issues regarding application of electronic digital signature (e-signature) in the Republic of Uzbekistan and provides scope of authority of a Special authorized body, rules of registration and liquidation of centers for registration of e-signature keys (Registration center), rights and obligations of e-signature users and other specific issues of e-signature usage.
In cryptography, a public key certificate (or identity certificate) is an electronic document which incorporates an electronic signature to bind together a public key with an identity — information such as the name of a person or an organization, their address, and so forth. The certificate can be used to verify that a public key belongs to an individual. It is so-called “passport” of the e-signature.
